  • Remarks
Cocktail historian David Wondrich was once again called in to recover an almost forgotten treasure and make it available to the world: Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao Yuzu Late Harvest. Like its "orange brother" - the classic Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao - Yuzu is also made based on a recipe from the 19th century.
  • Description
Classic cocktails call for classic liqueurs, and no liqueur is more classic than the Pierre Ferrand Dry Orange Curaçao. Created in consultation with cocktail historian David Wondrich and based on a 19th century recipe, it is a traditional French triple sec with separate distillation of spices and the ""sec"" or bitters, peels of Curaçao oranges mixed with brandy and Ferrand Cognac. The result is a rich, complex and balanced liqueur that will add depth and sophistication to your punches, slings, fizzes and of course many other cocktails. It is also a real delight chilled neat or on the rocks. Nose: Aromas of orange blossoms combined with candied orange zest as well as toasted wood notes reminiscent of aged Cognac. Palate: Delicious bitter-sweet orange enriched by notes of candied orange with a touch of hazelnut, bitter almonds and marzipan.
