Ardbeg Heavy Vapours Limited Edition *
Temporarily out of stock
Ardbeg has dared to remove the purifier - the small copper pot at the bottom of the Lyne arm between the still and the condenser. The purifier allows for this additional 'reflux' of particularly heavily peated alcohol. This means that Ardbeg is not simply 'peated', but is given an extremely balanced taste. A harmony of fruit, herbal and floral flavours and peat, making Ardbeg the most complex of all the Islay malts... The Purifier makes Ardbeg into Ardbeg. So what happens when you remove the purifier? - The result: Ardbeg HEAVY VAPOURS!
