- Beer matured in oak casks. Different varieties of malt, dried hops, wheat
- Fruity and slightly sour-sweet nose
- Sweet and sour taste especially due to aging in oak barrels.
Remarks
Duchesse de Bourgogne is a sweet and sour beer, with a slight fruity tasting due to the tannins of the oak barrels where the Duchesse de Bourgogne matures for several months. The hops are over aged for over one year, which explains the slightly bitter taste. Duchesse de Bourgogne is a mellow beer with a 6.2% alcohol volume, a true ruby-coloured jewel to be served preferably with a stemmed glass.
