Lion's Kop Pinotage 2016/2018 *

Unlike most South African Pinotages, fruity touches follow you from the nose to the finish. These aromas are evocative of plum and black berries. Of course, the main aromas of Pinotage dominate in the mouth: smoky, herbaceous, clove, gray pepper... This vintage displays present tannins, which support a medium and elegant structure; the mouth is ample but not "loaded". It is the wine's finesse and delicacy that speak, rather than its power and alcohol. The natural aromas of Pinotage are fully respected.
