  • Description
The Petite Arvine is a late harvest white grape variety. Its harvest takes place between the last days of September and the first days of October. The Petite Arvine prefers vineyards with good solar radiation. It needs very high daily thermal sums which, if associated with important nocturnal thermal inversions, enhance its organoleptic characteristics. It is a vine that is best expressed on soils poor in organic matter whose matrix is of morainic origin. The clusters are medium in size, most of the time compact. The berries are generally small, yellow in color with greenish reflections. In this production the Petite Arvine is vinified without sugar residue. On the nose floral scents predominate, above all wisteria, then citrus notes intervene among which the pink grapefruit stands out. In the mouth the fresh, mineral sensations are evident, which give it pleasantness and drinkability. These characteristics give the Petite Arvine wine the ability to aging for a long time also in the bottle.
