As part of Teeling's Small Batch Collaborations, empty barrels are exchanged in small series with companies such as breweries, wineries or distilleries in order to explore their influence on the Teeling Small Batch Whiskey and the new flavor combinations that arise.
  • Description
This limited Teeling bottling was created as part of a small batch collaboration with the Dot Brew Brewery in Dublin. High-quality grain and malt whisky was first matured separately in bourbon barrels for up to 5 years and then married in a ratio of 4:1 in dark porter beer barrels. They finally spent a honeymoon of over 15 months in these barrels, which gave the whisky wonderful aromas of cocoa, caramel and coffee. Nose: Fresh cocoa nibs, dark chocolate and muscovado sugar, accompanied by hop blossoms. Palate: Intense and versatile with fresh coffee beans, malty caramel notes and burnt brown sugar. Finish: Medium-long and spicy with hints of pepper and wood spice, as well as sweet orange zest with dark chocolate, well balanced by a pleasantly bitter hop note.
