Amarone della Valpolicella Classico La Dama 2018 DOCG
The red wine made with dried grapes that made Valpolicella great, a concentrate of aromas and flavours. Our singular interpretation of Amarone is born from grapes harvested in vineyards over 30 years old, where elegance tames great power and longevity is an essential characteristic. Grapes, vinification, ageing: only the sparsest, ripest and best exposed to the sun bunches of our Corvina 70%, Corvinone 10%, Rondinella 15% and Molinara 5% grapes are selected and placed in 6 kg boxes, in natural drying rooms, to wither for about 100 days. In January, when all the aromas have concentrated, the pressing takes place. The maceration of the crushed grapes is very long, up to 30/40 days, after which the maturation takes place in large casks for 36 months; the wine then ages in the bottle for at least 1 year before being marketed.
