    The Sassonero is a steep hill located in Arqua Petrarca. It is the dark trachyte vein that raised the seabed but so is the red limestone scale surface that is almost burnt here by the summer sun. In this mediterranean environment, among the broom, almond and olive trees we cultivate 3 hectares of highly concentrated Merlot wich matures 3 Years in oak barrels befor beeing bottled
