    Located in the Lamentin region, in the center of the island of Martinique, the La Favorite distillery is one of the last two independent family distilleries on the island. Between its legendary steam engine, the manual cane cutting and the knowledge -an ancestral tradition, La Favorite is an essential distillery. Its Cœur de Canne 4-year-old cuvée is an old AOC Martinique rum aged for 4 years in barrels. Soft and round, it highlights the style of the La Favorite distillery. Its nose opens with notes of cooked bananas on a bed of vanilla and caramel. Its gourmand mouth reveals notes of sweet spices. The predominant vanilla takes on a subtly toasted, toasted hue.
