Originally a Japanese exclusive in the early 2000s, the TEN cask strength has been highly sought after by the Committee for 20 years, as evidenced by numerous requests on social media and high secondary market value. This limited edition of Ardbeg’s flagship 10-year-old single malt Ardbeg Tenis bottled at cask strength. Released in honour of the Committee, this limited edition brings a momentous intensity to Ardbeg’s classic, smokystyle. Matured in handselected bourbon barrels – some uniquely filled witha new-make spirit at an unusually high strength – it offers rich aromas oftar and sea spray and sweet, smooth tastes. The first edition to be releasedunder the tenure of the Committee’s new Co-Chairs, it is bottled at anaturally elevated ABV of 61.7%.
