Filled during the distillery's dark period, these rare barrels gave birth to an extremely complex and enticing Ardbeg. Smoky cream and distant fire notes are masterfully blended with a hint of pine and candle wax through smoke. On the palate, a strong, peppery note that turns into the sweetness of a creamy lemon orbit. A hint of carbonic flavour and tar leads to a long finish, intermingled with a hint of anise, cream and butter toffee.
