    The Costamagna vineyard is located in the heart of the SanZeno estate in Lamone, north of Lugano. The estate was founded in 1975-1980 and was purchased in 1999 by Claudio Tamborini to produce an elite, high quality wine. A harmonious, balanced wine, rich in velvety tannins. It is an important Merlot that perfectly expresses the terroir of the Tamborini di Lamone estate. A wine with an intense and deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections. On the nose there is a remarkable elegant aromatic intensity with mineral and sweet notes reminiscent of plums, biscuits, tobacco and spices. It is a rich, aristocratic wine with good structure. On the palate, the attack is dense and warm, supported by a pleasant freshness and good minerality. A superlative and persistent finish.
