  • Description

There is no doubt that Talbot is one of the most famous crus of the Médoc. In the hands of the same family for a century, this estate of more than a hundred hectares produces wines known for the consistent quality of its vintages. "Talbot embodies for many the ideal of Saint Julien, generously bouqueted, very stable and safe to age," emphasize Bettane and Desseauve in their Grand Guide des Vins de France. It is true, Talbot is a champion of longevity, which does not prevent it from being pleasant and round even in its early youth, always marked by silky and smooth tannins, very civilized. Talbot, has an extroverted nature, it is never withdrawn, and has the courtesy to be in a good mood every day. It is a racy wine, with its complex notes of Havana and licorice, deliciously classic without ever being austere.
