    The first tastings show a beautiful homogeneity, a lot of colour and density. Freshness but also complexity, depth, texture and always the elegance of the tannins that characterise Haut-Bailly. Powerful and sweet wines are to be expected for a sunny vintage. Nature, more than ever, in the unprecedented context of the year, was a saving grace for us. It tested our courage but was ultimately favourable to us. The quality of this vintage encourages us to think that willpower, tenacity and passion are rewarding. An exceptional terroir and good winemakers are always a winning equation. We will all remember 2020... and the pride of having achieved the feat of producing a great vintage!
