Description
Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Château Branaire-Ducru is one of the great names in the Saint-Julien appellation. Owned by François Xavier Maroteaux, the son of the late Patrick Maroteaux, and managed by Jean-Dominique Videau, Château Branaire-Ducru offers, vintage after vintage, a superb expression of this great terroir on the left bank of Bordeaux with wines renowned for their elegance, velvety texture on the palate and consistency. The Château Branaire-ducru 2018 red has been awarded 2 stars, which corresponds to an outstanding wine. The juries awarded it a Coup de Coeur. This wine has been noted in the 2022 edition of the Guide Hachette Vins.
