    Yellow gentian (gentiana lutea) is a mountain plant that is easy to spot in mountain pastures, with its long stem, thick leaves and narrow, bright yellow flowers. Its twisted, creeping roots traditionally produce a powerful aperitif when macerated in alcohol. The Carthusian monks have drawn on centuries of know-how and their acute knowledge of plants and herbs to produce this ‘off the beaten track’ gentian. Naturally different, it will delight demanding connoisseurs who will discover the authentic strength of this root.
