    La Chartreuse Verte, V.E.P. for Exceptionally Prolonged Aging, is made using the same method as traditional Chartreuse, but its prolonged aging gives it an incomparable aroma and finesse. Each bottle is numbered. 130 plants are essential to produce Chartreuse liqueurs: they are listed in the manuscript that Marshal d'Estrées gave to the Carthusian Fathers in 1605.
